A new website remains an aspiration - using Drupal, Pharo..?
Developing ideas on Hodges’ model (not Wilfred btw) when viewed as a mathematical object, using category theory as a ‘non-mathematician’.
Work part-time still in the community in NW England.

I am an anthropologist from the Universidad Nacional de Colombia. I am interested in ethnomusicology, art, and complex systems, especially socio-ecological. I want to understand how cultural expressions and social rules are part of a more complex system and how they are intertwined with other non-human behaviors
I am interested in modeling socio-ecological systems. I am currently working on the implementation of a seed-exchange model for understanding the role of some kinship patterns (locality and seed heritage rules) in agrobiodiversity.
My interests is always on the dynamic interactions of human and their habitat (nature/built environment, etc.). At the moment my researches focus on the political-ecology analysis of human-nature interactions and social-ecological systems analysis. I am interested in using Agent-Based Model to support my works. I have been using ABM for quite some years, although not putting too much focus on it at the moment.
Anna Pagani is an architect and doctoral researcher under the supervision of Prof. Claudia R. Binder in the interdisciplinary laboratory for Human-Environment Relations in Urban Systems (HERUS) at École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL), Lausanne, Switzerland. In her PhD, she works closely with tenants, housing providers and practitioners to provide housing that is not only environmentally but also socioculturally sustainable.
Her research interests revolve around the relationship between the human and material components of the built environment, and more specifically on the introduction of a systems perspective to housing studies.

I graduated Bachelor and Master studies at the University of Warsaw, obtaining the diploma in biology at College of Inter-Faculty Individual Studies in Mathematics and Natural Sciences (MISMaP). After graduation I worked as a freelancer in data science and statistics, then worked for 2 years as a data scientist in an IT startup and now I am working as a statistician in The Polish National Information Processing Institute (OPI PIB) in a group analysing condition of science and higher education in Poland. My interests: agent based modelling, evolutionary ecology, statistics, data science, sociology of science.
I am a economic-social system engineer who have worked on costumer behavior for choice product by agent-based modelling. I have modeled a few ABMs for different fields as urban planning, E-cars, etc . I have translated 3 books based on ABM: anylogic, Netlogo, ABM in economics and accessible on ABModel.ir.
I’m working on new models about house buyers, news diffusion, prosumer decision, social network behavior, etc!
Basically I used Netlogo as base software, however I offer Anylogic for bachelors student.
Now, I’m try to model a macro-economic, p2p trading, etc. Also energy market is my interested.
Next, based on my work (as consultant), I will try to model investment and industry improvment.
Agent based modeling on economic and social systems. Also Netlogo and Anylogic softwares as ABM and system dynamic simulation.
I studied Mathematics at Oxford (1979-1983) then did youth work in inner city areas for the Educational Charity. After teaching in Grenada in the West Indies we came back to the UK, where the first job I could get was in a 6th form college (ages 16-18). They sent me to do post16 PCGE, which was so boring that I also started a part-time PhD. The PhD was started in 1992 and was on the meaning and definition of the idea of “complexity”, which I had been pondering for a few years. Given the growth of the field of complexity from that time, I had great fun reading almost anything in the library but I did finally finish it in 1999. Fortunately I got a job at the Centre for Policy Modelling (CfPM) in 1994 with its founder and direction, Scott Moss. We were doing agent-based social simulation then, but did not know it was called this and did not meet other such simulators for a few years. With Scott Moss we built the CfPM into one of the leading research centres in agent-based social simulation in the world. I became director of the CfPM just before Scott retired, and later became Professor of Social Simulation in 2013. For more about me see http://bruce.edmonds.name or http://cfpm.org.
All aspects of social simulation including: techniques, tools, applications, philosophy, methodology and interesting examples. Understanding complex social systems. Context-dependency and how it affects interaction and cognition. Complexity and how this impacts upon simulation modelling. Social aspects of cognition - or to put it another way - the social embedding of intelligence. Simulating how science works. Integrating qualitative evidence better into ABMs. And everything else.
